Summer Programming at Olney Charter High School
Summer School
Summer School will be open for students who failed a class during the attending school year.
Offered courses: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, English 1, English 2, English 3, English 4, World History, U.S. History, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish 1.
Summer School dates and hours
Wednesday, July 5 to Friday, July 28
Doors Open at 7:40 am
Breakfast – 7:40am – 7:55am
First period - 8:00am - 9:30am Second period - 9:35am - 11:05am Third period - 11:10am - 12:40pm
Students currently in the 11th and 12th grades may be eligible for credit recovery which is being offered concurrently with summer school.
Summer Bridge Program
The Summer Bridge Program was developed for incoming 9th-grade students transitioning into high school. Students will strengthen leadership and critical thinking skills by increasing their reading, writing, and fundamental math potential. Selected students participate in community building activities, play sports, and work on special projects in robotics, acting, debate, & more.
For Who: Any student registered to attend 9th grade

When: July 9th through July 27th - 8:30 - 1:30
What is Needed: Students should be registered with Olney Charter High School for the current academic school year.
