Join the exponentially growing choir of Olney Charter High School! Our talent-packed choir has grown so much over the past three years, we now offer two programs for our students to choose from during or after school hours. All students have the opportunity to partake in the school choir led by the Arts Director, Steve Lanciano. OCHS Choir has a bi-annual performance as well as various showcases totaling in about 6 performances a year.
Wondering what makes the Drama Department at Olney Charter High School extraordinary? Our accredited drama department is partnered with many Philadelphia drama organizations such as ASAP Drama, the Arden, the Philadelphia Shakespeare Theater, and so much more! Throughout the school year, there are 2 performances which include a full-length musical production during the spring. The drama department is under the direction of Mrs. Emily Guck-McGuigan but is fully student operated from costuming, marketing, and even stage-management. For students who would like to incorporate their passion for drama into their class schedule, they may choose to take any of our drama course offerings such as Drama I, Drama II (acting) and Drama III (production).
